This book is definitely the most popular and in-depth when it comes to the comes to the Logic Games section of the LSAT. PowerScore has taken techniques from their live courses, which have helped thousands of students, and presented them in a book format. Readers will learn how to recognize certain game types, techniques for approaching and solving each game questions, and how to manage time while doing it.

It covers all currently tested question types including: formal logic, conditional reasoning, and causality.

The LSAT Trainer

Each book includes: 10 previously administered LSATs, an answer key for each test, a writing sample for each test,score-conversion tables, and sample Comparative Reading questions and explanations.

Kaplan LSAT Premier 2015 with 6 Real Practice Tests


Although not as popular as the LSAT Trainer this course provides more content. For those looking for a very comprehensive guide that covers material from all of the LSAT sections, this is a great book to have. Not only does it provide almost 1,200 pages of test preparation, users will also have access to useful online resources, mobile resources, and a DVD containing video lessons and admissions advice. The Interactive Online Companion is one of those resources, making instructor led workshops and test analytics available to students. While Kaplan does offer flashcards to purchase separately, they are not the most recommended.

Kaplan is a proven leader in test preparation and really stands behind their LSAT material. This is a great and inexpensive resource to figure out where you’re at in your overall test preparation. Other books would be helpful alongside the practice tests Kaplan provides, if students know or realize they need extra work in specific test areas.
