MAT For Dummies

MAT For Dummies includes test-specific analogy strategies, practice and review for each content area, word/terms lists covering the major subject categories, and six practice tests with detailed answer banks. The book is well organized and explains the MAT test in basic terms. The six complete practice tests allow you to get a really good idea of how prepared you are for the actual test.
MAT For Dummies is pretty decent, it is not as in-depth as other prep guides on our list. Some of the review questions have some typographical errors that distract from your studying.
McGraw-Hill Education 500 MAT Questions to Know

This prep book focuses a lot more on practice questions and tests rather than in-depth subject review and includes 500 MAT-like analogy question, full explanations for each question in the answer key and a format parallel to that of the actual exam.
These questions are similar to the ones you’ll find on the MAT so you will know what to expect on test day. Each question includes a concise, easy-to-follow explanation in the answer key for your full understanding of the concepts. With these answer explanations you can really learn from your mistakes, thus increasing your score on the exam.
If you’re just looking for practice questions, this preparation guide would be great to pick up.
MAT Flashcard Study System

MAT Flashcard Study System uses repetitive methods of study to teach you how to break apart and quickly solve difficult test questions on the Miller Analogies Test. Study after study has shown that spaced repetition is the most effective form of learning, and nothing beats flashcards when it comes to making repetitive learning fun and fast.
Overall this is a great supplemental or additional source of study. It might be a nice change of pace from other fully comprehensive materials.
